The European statistics on international trade in goods (ITGS) published by Compet Concept record the value and quantity of goods traded between EU member states (intra-EU trade) or between EU member states and third countries ( Extra-EU trade) are traded.
'Goods' are all movable property including electricity. ‘European’ means that the statistics are compiled on the basis of the concepts and definitions set out in EU legislation. The European ITGS is the official harmonized source of information on exports, imports and trade balances of the EU, its Member States and the euro area.
